Just at the very beginning of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Hungarian government announced that all merchants using online cash registers will be required to provide electronic payment options from January next year, be it credit card, instant transfer, or any means of contactless payment even by mobiles.
Several cash register distributors and developer companies have already integrated the PAYupp Terminal by Nuage Groupe’s PAYupp into their offerings, enabling them to receive electronic payments after just a simple software update and registration in the PAYupp Platform.
The solution is user-friendly and comprehensible, and requires no effort on the customer’s side: PAYupp’s free electronic Wallet can be installed on a smartphone to pay from the bank account assigned to the app, cashless and contactless. The PAYupp Wallet can handle multiple bank accounts, debit and credit cards, or even SZÉP social benefits cards, so the user is free to choose the payment method. The merchant connects to the customer’s smartphone via the PAYupp Terminal integrated into the cash register, initiates the transaction upon data entered in the register, and with a simple approval, the customer can pay for the products or the service provided.
